CSC Employees “Fill the Cruiser”

Features

CSC staff from Mountain Institution held their first ever “Fill the Cruiser” event last month.  They collected food and monetary donations for the Salvation Army outside the Sardis Safeway in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Drug detector dog Drake also made an appearance with his handler Steve, and both were popular among the patrons of Safeway.

Thanks to this event, the CSC Honour Guard vehicle was packed with food donations. As well, staff were able to purchase winter coats and gloves for six adults, and provide a monetary gift to the Salvation Army with the money that was donated. The volunteers of the Salvation Army were extremely grateful and overwhelmed with the support from CSC.  Congratulations to all who participated!
